Aurora Students created paper cut snowflakes to wrap up their Winter Art projects. Students could make digital snowflakes using two iPad apps, "Happy Snowflake" and "MyFlake". The key to a great snowflake is in the fold and how deep into the white space you cut. Use the QR code below to view beautiful Real Snowflake Crystals.
Beautiful Snowglobes were created by 8th grade art students. Students started with creating a watercolor wash on watercolor paper. They then sprinkled salt on to form the crystals in the drying process. Snow scenes were drawn in their individual globes and painted using tempera paint. Glittered acrylic paint was put on the snow to give it a shine. |
